extra parts

I was watering today and had taken off a fitting earlier,
the gasket for the hose had fallen out,
and in a place like this there is little hope of finding it

if you are farming then you are likely not close to a city,
and that means that parts you may need are often out of reach before your plants die.
(I could have used it without that washer and just got soaked myself (but it is cold today), but many other cases I really did need the part)

so have critical extra parts stored up.
