I can't remember if I talked about this already or not,
but the long island seed project is a neat thing,
most people bred plants by narrowing the DNA,
some cross 2 things and then narrow the DNA,
and what I mean by that is they just select what they want a few generations in a row and then they are done.
but the long island seed project wanted the DNA variation that makes the plants grow so much better,
so they select out the good things in the plant and narrow the DNA,
then they cross the plant back to the seeds they started with, and then reselect out the good parts,
this gets them a fantastic plant,
so when you go looking for seeds, remember if it says "long island improved" it is likely pretty good.
here is an example

and I am not sure about this squash... it might just be from that area
