replacing plants

so some plants just fade with age,
like this zucchini plant that was started indoors before the last frost
between the hot week, and the dry week after it, and gopher attacks and other bad things, and that they just don't live that long, replacing plants can be a good idea,
so if I had wanted zucchini all summer long in large amounts, I should have replanted every 3 months...

here are bean plants that I started in the dying off pea plants,
they did not get the harsh weather (it was only 6F over normal...),
and are lush and green now,
the ones I planted at the start of the year died from unfavorable conditions,

things like radishes need planted every 2 weeks to ensure fresh ones,

so keep in mind the lifespan of your plants
and replace them if you don't think you will be sick of them by the time they get old and stop producing
